It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (10-24-16)

Last week was another light reading one for me, for the same reason as before:

The Chicago Cubs!!!!!!!!!!

This week's reading will probably be light for the same reason ... I'll be watching the World Series (and getting far too little sleep). I sincerely hope the Cubbies can pull it out, but even if they don't, it's sure been fun watching them!

What I read last week:

The Cautious Maiden by Dawn Crandall. While I didn't love this book nearly as much as The Bound Heart, it's still very good. (4 stars)

Cold Case Christianity for Kids by J. Warner Wallace & Susie Wallace. This book is perfect for kids who are curious about the claims of Christianity! (5 stars)

What I'm reading now:

A Lady Unrivaled by Roseanna M. White. Look at this—I actually started reading this book after two weeks of having it on my "what I'll read next" list. So far, it's great—I had to force myself to put it down and go to sleep last night.

She Reads Truth by Raechel Myers & Amanda Bible Williams. This has been a slow read because I'm savoring it. It's really good, and I'm fairly certain I'll finish it up this week.

What I'll read next:

Aboard Providence by Keely Brooke Keith. I have to post my review on Sunday, so I need to get reading!

Where Two Hearts Meet by Liz Johnson. This one is supposed to be reviewed by the end of the month. We'll see if that happens ... but I'm guessing I won't make it, thanks to the Cubbies :-)

What books are you reading right now? Have you read any of these? And who are you rooting for in the World Series? Let me know in the comments, and check out other posts from the linkup.

  1. Such great books you're reading! I liked The Cautious Maiden too and want to read more of Dawn Crandall's work. You've got me real curious about A Lady Unrivaled. Enjoy your reading week and thanks for visiting my blog.
