It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (11-14-16)

Hello, again! I'm back after a week off, which I spent sponsoring a senior class trip to Washington, D.C. I didn't have much time for reading except on the plane, but I did manage to get a few books read.

What I read last week:

Intermission by Serena Chase. I loved this book so much! It has showtunes, young love, and surprising depth. It officially releases tomorrow—you definitely should check it out! (5 stars)

Where Two Hearts Meet by Liz Johnson. I enjoyed the first book in this series, but Where Two Hearts Meet was on another level. It features perhaps the best "almost kiss" I've ever read. (5 stars)

I'll Be Yours by Jenny B. Jones. This book. Seriously. Words escape me, so here's the tagline: She’s the coach’s brilliant daughter, clueless about love. He’s the dethroned football star, ready to teach Romance 101. When dark secrets and sparks collide, there’s no playbook for what happens next. (review and rating to come)

What I'm reading now:

A Lady Unrivaled by Roseanna M. White. I swear, I'll finish this book someday! The thing is, it's really good ... other books just keep jumping ahead in urgency.

What I'll read next:

Trust My Heart by Carol J. Post. The review for this one is due Thursday, so I really need to get reading!

What books are you reading right now? Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments, and check out other posts from the linkup.

  1. Kudos to you on going w/a senior class to D.C. I hope everything went smoothly. The Christian genre is one I definitely want to dip in. Most of their covers are pretty and it'd be a nice change sometimes to just focus on the story and characters without the profanity and sex.

    1. The trip did go well! I was a bit nervous about being in D.C. over the election, but we didn't have any problems. Thanks for stopping by!
