Stacking the Shelves (12-11-16)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly linkup hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's all about the new books accumulated over the week.

I didn't get nearly as many books last week as I did the week before ... which is definitely a good thing for my wallet!

(Clicking on the book title will take you to the Amazon page. It's an affiliate link, which means I get a small commission if you purchase anything. If you're uncomfortable with this, just open a new browser window to Amazon and search for the book yourself.)

Kindle Freebies

Note that these ebooks were free when I got them, but prices fluctuate frequently, so be sure to check to see if they're still free before you click "buy now."

Hook, Line & Sinker by Susan May Warren
I read and reviewed this novella a long time ago—and I was thrilled to see it pop up as a Kindle freebie! It's a stand alone novella set in Warren's fictional town of Deep Haven (the Deep Haven series, the Christiansen Family series).

True Love at Christmas by Juliette Duncan

Books I Purchased

The Thirteenth Chance by Amy Matayo
I already had a Kindle copy of The Thirteenth Chance, but I love to have physical copies of my favorite books, and it's currently on sale for $4.99 (the Kindle version is just 99¢!). I couldn't resist. (my review)

Review Books

Never Forget by Jody Hedlund
This is the fifth book in Hedlund's Beacons of Hope series, I can't wait to dive in!

The Chilbury Ladies' Choir by Jennifer Ryan

What books did you add to your collection this week?

  1. True Love at Christmas looks good. And honestly, I don't tend to read holiday books. But I hope you enjoy all your new books this week!

    1. Thanks, Sandy! For whatever reason, I've read WAY more Christmas books than normal this year. But the chances of actually reading True Love at Christmas THIS Christmas are slim to none--I have too many other books to read :-)
