Starring Christmas by Allison Pittman and Rachel McMillan

Here's another great Prime benefit—Prime members can borrow one Kindle book per month (from a limited list). There's no time limit on these; you just can't borrow another book until you return your current selection. Starring Christmas caught my eye because several authors I follow were talking about it—and I was pleasantly surprised to find it was available to borrow!

The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest by Melanie Dickerson

Several of Dickerson's novels are currently on sale for 99¢. This is the first book in Dickerson's Medieval Fairy Tale series. I read (and loved!) book two, The Beautiful Pretender, earlier this year.

The Silent Songbird by Melanie Dickerson

This is Dickerson's most recent release. It's book #7 in her Hagenheim series, but each book stands alone. (I've previously read books 5 and 6, The Princess Spy and The Golden Braid.) The entire series is on sale today.

The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley

Brooklyn by Colm Tóibin

Brooklyn is easily one of the best movies I've seen this year. I didn't realize it was based on a book, and when the novel popped up on a Cyber Monday sale, I couldn't resist.
