It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (2-6-17)

Happy Monday! It's crazy how quickly Mondays come around again ...

So PixL Movie Channel update: My trial ended yesterday, and I decided to cancel. While I enjoyed most of the movies I watched, I decided that, for now, it wasn't an expense I needed. And if I change my mind, I can always sign up for a month for $2 and binge whatever strikes my fancy.

As for reading, I didn't do very much last week. I'm doing a great job of backing off on my reviewing commitments and only reading books that I truly want to, so I'm enjoying my reading more, even though I'm doing less of it.

Also, I have a giveaway going on right now for Kari Jobe's new CD The Garden. Be sure to pop over and enter—it's a great worship album!

What I listened to on audiobook last week:

Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng. I have lots of mixed feelings about this book, but there's no denying it's an engaging read...or listen! (review and rating to come)

What I'm reading now:

Restoring Love by Jennifer Slattery. This is my current lunch break book, and it's slow going ... not because of the quality of the book, but because I sometimes do things like watch all of the Super Bowl commercials during lunch instead of reading! (My favorite? Bai. I mean, I did graduate in 1999!)

The Chilbury Ladies Choir by Jennifer Ryan. This novel, which takes place in an English village during World War II, is told entirely through journal entries and letters. I'm about 25% of the way through, and it's so incredibly engaging. It releases next week, and I think it'll be very popular. (But what do I know?)

What I'll read next:

Life After by Katie Ganshert. My copy just arrived, and I can't wait to dive in!

What are you reading currently? And did you have a favorite Super Bowl commercial? Let me know!
