"The Answer" by Jeremy Camp + Giveaway

It's been a while since I've had a music review + giveaway for you, so I'm really excited about this one! It's Jeremy Camp's new album, which released today!

Back in the day (10 or so years ago ...), I used to refer to our local Christian radio station as "Jeremy Camp radio." I listened every morning while getting ready for work, and it seemed like I heard at least one Jeremy Camp song a day. I didn't dislike his music, but I wasn't really a fan, either. Then someone gave me a couple tickets to a Jeremy Camp concert nearby. I was so impressed with Camp's heart for the Lord, and I began to enjoy his music more, too 🙂.

The Answer is another solid album from Jeremy Camp. Chances are, if you listen to Christian radio, you already know the first song, "Word of Life." It's a catchy, singable song that I would expect to show up in worship sets around the country. The rest of the songs are good, as well, with solid lyrics that point to Christ.

My favorite song is the last one on the album, "Awake O Sleeper." It has a different sound and feel than the rest of the songs on the album—and I'm sure that's due at least in part to the fact that it's the only song on the album not written by Camp. It has a country-rock anthem vibe to it, and I really enjoy the sound.

The Answer is a great album for fans of Christian music. I'm really enjoying it, and I bet you will, too. 4 stars.
