Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Intended to Read in 2017

Happy Tuesday! I'm still working on my Best of 2017 list (the books are selected, but now I have to rank them and write about them ...), but in the meantime, here's another Top Ten Tuesday! I could've picked probably upwards of 30 books for this list of Books I Intended to Read in 2017 but Didn't, but I'm limiting myself to ten here. You're welcome 😉.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han

My sister sent me this book as a surprise, and I'm so excited to read it—and it definitely needs to happen before the movie comes out!

Unblemished and Unraveling by Sara Ella

I've had both of these books for a good year now, and the third in the series is slated for release in May. Must read before then!

The Writing Desk by Rachel Hauck

Hauck's writing always captivates me, and this book is near the top of my TBR pile (which is completely out of control, by the way).

Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple

Another book that's being adapted into a movie this year, Where'd You Go, Bernadette has been on my Kindle for a long time.

P.S. I Like You by Kasie West

I absolutely blew through a bunch of West's novels last year, so the fact that this one remained unread on my Kindle is nearly tragic.

The Austen Escape by Katherine Reay

I've had this book since its release date, but I still haven't read it. I've no doubt it's just as wonderful as Reay's other books.

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

My sister passed this book on to me after she read it. I've heard so many amazing things about it; I definitely need to get to it soon!

Just Look Up by Courtney Walsh

I won this in a Goodreads giveaway, and it looks wonderful.

My Life as a Doormat by Rene Gutteridge

I love the Hallmark movie that's based on this book (Love's Complicated, which, tragically, isn't available on DVD or streaming), so I snagged the book when it was on sale. I'm thinking it would make a great Book or Movie post ... if I ever get it read!

Have you read any of these books? Which should I read first?

  1. If there is a good thing about you not having read Sara's yet, it's that you can now binge read them all!! How fabulous is this?? :)

Sadly I didn't get to reading Jenny's 'Boys,' 'P.S,' or Just Look Up. However I can attest to the wonderfulness that is The Austen Escape!! Enjoy. :)
