It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (8-20-18)

Happy Monday! It almost feels like I should be wishing you a Happy Fall, too ... it's 66°, cloudy, and windy, and it certainly feels like fall. (Crazy—in a few months, 66° will feel like a heat wave!)

School started last Tuesday, which made for a crazy week, and I hardly read a thing. I should have lots of reading opportunities over the next few days, so hopefully my list will be longer next week!

What I read last week:

A Rumored Fortune by Joanna Davidson Politano. I liked this book fine, but I didn't love it, and I think it's because I had such high expectations going in. (3-1/2 stars)

What I'm reading now:

A Daring Venture by Elizabeth Camden. I often really enjoy Camden's books, and so far, I'm liking this one a lot.

What I'll read next:

It should be something like Melanie Dobson's Hidden Among the Stars, which is my next book with a review deadline, but, let's be real. It'll probably end up being a cheesy YA romance. I'll let you know next week 😀.

Does it feel like fall where you are, or is summer still in full swing? And how was your reading week? Share your current read in the comments, and then head over to the linkup to see what others read last week.

  2. I keep forgetting that Joanna's new novel is available. Someday I'll order it. :)

Still plugging away at Joanne Bischof's novel. BUT the plan is, I'll finish it tomorrow morning. :)

    1. Did you finish, Rissi? I've been out of town all week, so I'm way behind on my blog reading. You've probably already posted your review, and I just haven't gotten to it yet :-) Anyway, I'll be interested to see your review!

  3. We had a gorgeous day in the 70s here today - but it's back into the mid-80s for the next 10 days. I guess I shouldn't complain, but I am ready for fall! Have a wonderful week of reading!
