Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Love with Few Ratings on Goodreads
Today's Top Ten Tuesday theme is Books I Love with Fewer than 2,000 Ratings on Goodreads. I've discovered that lots of the books I love don't have 2,000 ratings, so I've decided to go with 500 as my cutoff number. These books were all 5-star reads for me, and I'd love for them to get more buzz!!!

Review: "Brunch at Bittersweet Cafe" by Carla Laureano
Happy Valentine's Day!!! Could a book scream "February" more than this one? The font makes it look romantic, and sweet treats bring Valentine's Day to mind. Basically, I'm saying that this is a perfect read for your Valentine's Day.

Review: "A Return of Devotion" by Kristi Ann Hunter
I often read before bed, and most of the time I can put the book down after 30 minutes and go to sleep. But every once in a while, I get so swept into a story that I throw good sense to the wind and read far into the night. That's what happened with A Return of Devotion—I finally put the book down at 1:30 a.m., and that was only because my Kindle ran out of battery!

Review: "A Love Most Worthy" by Sandra Ardoin
A book set in Alaska during the Gold Rush wouldn't normally entice me ... but throw in the words "mail-order bride," and I'm in.

January's Mini Reviews
This post should be subtitled A Bunch of the Kindle Unlimited Books I Read Before My Subscription Ran Out.
I had a 3-month subscription to Kindle Unlimited that I got for a 99¢ deal in November. My subscription expired on February 1, and I decided not to renew for $9.99 per month. So I spent a lot of January trying to read as many KU books as possible! I've posted reviews of some already; these are ones I didn't want to give full-blown, normal reviews to, but I also wanted to document in some way. So here ya go ... no waiting until the end of the year this time around!
Review: "Pretty in Punxsutawney" by Laurie Boyle Crompton
Time loops are totally my thing. Groundhog Day is probably the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of a time loop, but I've enjoyed other movies as well: Edge of Tomorrow, About Time, and the ABC Family Christmas movie The 12 Dates of Christmas are some of my favorites. Over all, though, I prefer two TV episodes: Stargate: SG-1's "Window of Opportunity" and Lois & Clark's "Twas the Night Before Mxymas."
But with all those movies and shows, I don't think I've ever read a book that features a time loop. Until now.

Review: "The Curse of Misty Wayfair" by Jaime Jo Wright
Over the past couple years, I have heard so many good things about Jaime Jo Wright's novels. When The Curse of Misty Wayfair came up for review, I knew this was a good time to check her out.

First Line Fridays: "The Thirteenth Chance"
Happy Friday! We've made it through another work week, it's beautiful here in Nebraska today (currently 57°!!!), and the thought of sleeping in tomorrow makes me smile.
