Top Ten Tuesday: Books on My Summer TBR

Happy Tuesday! Can you believe it's almost July? Where has this year gone? (Of course, it now sounds like July in my neighborhood—today is the first day that it's legal to shoot off fireworks in my town, and some of my neighbors are taking full advantage.)

Today's Top Ten Tuesday post is one I couldn't resist: Books on my Summer TBR. I didn't do a Spring TBR post, but one of these was actually on my Winter TBR ... and a couple others made my monthly TBRs for March and April. Maybe NOW is the time to read it! (I wouldn't hold my breath 🤣)

The Warrior Maiden by Melanie Dickerson

I love Dickerson's Hagenheim series, and I'm really looking forward to reading her take on Mulan!

The King's Mercy by Lori Benton

I loved Benton's Many Sparrows, which was my first exposure to her writing. I'm anxious to read her new release!

A Silken Thread by Kim Vogel Sawyer

I started reading this book in April, and I was really enjoying it before life intervened. I'd love to go back and finish it!

Becoming Us by Robin Jones Gunn

This novel features Christy Miller and Sierra Jensen in supporting roles, which was all I needed to know when I requested it for review! The beginning was a bit difficult to get into, so I set it aside, but I'll be giving it another go soon.

No Ocean Too Wide by Carrie Turansky

This book just released today, so I'm not too far behind yet! I'm hoping to get to it in July.

The Sky Above Us by Sarah Sundin

How have I not read this book yet? I've had it for several months, but it's not a review book, and I just haven't slotted it in yet. But I must remedy that soon.

Murder in the City of Liberty by Rachel McMillan

This is my current read—it's an intriguing mystery!

Cross My Heart by Robin Lee Hatcher

This is another book that released today. I've been looking forward to reading it for months—ever since I read the first book in the series.

Maybe It's You by Christy Hayes

This is another book I started long ago and haven't finished. I really do intend to soon! (This is the one that showed up on my winter list.)

Love and Other Mistakes by Jessica Kate

Isn't this cover adorable? I've wanted to read this book ever since I first saw it!

What books are on your Summer TBR? Have you read any of these?

  3. Ahhh! Love seeing Sarah's on here; yet another reminder that I MUST read this new series by her (and one oldie trilogy from her as well). Oh, and Jessica's is HIGH (HIGH) up on my CANNOT-WAIT-TO-READ TBR. :)

    1. I started Sarah's books with the third book in her first trilogy, and I keep meaning to go back to read the first two but haven't yet :-) I might start Jessica's over this long weekend ... it's very high on my list, too!
