As Susan May Warren's Montana Marshalls series has released over the last several months, I've eagerly devoured each installment. I got review copies of the first several books, but I missed out on Wyatt ... so I bought it myself, as I needed to know what happened next!

Wyatt is a little too compulsive for me; too emotional and quick to jump to conclusions. Many of his actions seem like those of a hurt teenager, rather than an adult man. I kind of get it—his father died when he was a teenager, and he's always felt like he couldn't live up to his brothers. But I still didn't like it ...
The story, though, is on par with the others in the series, and the plot moves forward in leaps and bounds. There's a twist at the end that had my head spinning. I can't wait to see how everything wraps up in Ruby Jane! 4 stars.
