Review: "The Way of the Brave" by Susan May Warren
Anytime Susan May Warren releases a new book, my reaction is "yes, please!" It's a no-brainer! And since she's such a prolific writer, it feels like I constantly have a new book of hers to read ... and I'm certainly not complaining about that 😀.

Review: "An Uncommon Woman" by Laura Frantz
For a few years now, I've been hearing about Laura Frantz's books, but I'll be honest: I'm generally not a fan of 18th century-era fiction. But I finally decided to take the plunge with An Uncommon Woman, and now I understand what all the fuss is about!

Review: "The Thief of Lanwyn Manor" by Sarah E. Ladd
I just checked, and the last time I read a Sarah E. Ladd novel was in 2016. What??? She's one of the authors responsible for my love of Regency romance ... and somehow, her books fell off my radar. Well, no more—The Thief of Lanwyn Manor reminded me why I liked her books in the first place!

Review: "Love You, Truly" by Susan L. Tuttle
After reading (and loving!) Susan L. Tuttle's At First Glance last year, I knew Tuttle would become one of my "must read" authors. Review: "The Matrimonial Advertisement" by Mimi Matthews
Bookstagram made me do it. I'd never heard of author Mimi Matthews until some bookstagrammers I trust started posting about her books. And then I realized that The Matrimonial Advertisement was a marriage of convenience story ... and then it went on sale for Kindle for less than $2. I couldn't resist!

If you're a little "sapped out" after the Christmas movie season, Seconds to Live might just be the palate cleanser you need!

Review: "On Wings of Devotion" by Roseanna M. White
The first book in Roseanna M. White's Codebreakers series was so delightful (as are all of her books), so I was eager to get my hands on the next installment, On Wings of Devotion. Let's just say I wasn't disappointed ...

Ranking Hallmark's 2019 Christmas Movies
The Hallmark Christmas movie season has (finally) come to a close. Yes, movies are still running 24/7, but all of the new movies have premiered, and the end of "all Christmas all the time" is in sight. Since I subscribe to Frndly TV, for the first time I didn't have to watch movies when they aired—I could record and watch later! This made my viewing experience so much better—I could watch movies in pieces ... or quit watching and decide later if I'd go back or not.
