You know how sometimes books are so buzzed about that you have to read them? So many of my bookstagram friends have been raving about The Lost Lieutenant ... and I even featured it in what is one of my personal favorite Instagram photos (the "likes" don't agree, but I still love it!). Since I've been on a Regency kick lately, I decided to squeeze it in between review deadlines, and I'm so glad I did!
He's doing what he can to save the Prince Regent's life . . . but can he
save his new marriage as well?

Readers who enjoy Julie Klassen, Carolyn Miller, and Kristi Ann Hunter will
love diving into this brand-new Regency series filled with suspense,
aristocratic struggles, and a firm foundation of faith.
This book was responsible for a late night/early morning—I simply could not put it down! The book has humor, intrigue, and romance, and it captivated me from the opening pages.
I loved Evan and Diana (and the way they got together was a hoot!), and their romance was so heartwarming. Of course, they both had secrets that could ruin their relationship, but things were resolved quickly enough that I didn't mind too much. Also, this is the first Regency novel I can remember that actually has the Prince Regent as a character (and what a character he is!) ... so that was fun!
The Lost Lieutenant is a fabulous beginning to the Serendipity & Secrets series, and I'm looking forward to the the upcoming books! 4-1/2 stars.
