March Wrap-Up: What I Read (And Didn't Read)
Happy April!!! I'm glad to see April make its appearance ... surely it will be more "spring-like" than March was!
I'm continuing to build my bookstagram account (I've pretty much given up on recovering my personal account—you can read about that saga here), and last month I posted a March TBR picture. I thought it would be fun to revisit that pic and see how I did ... which is actually better than I expected! (If you've ever seen any of my "It's Monday! What Are You Reading" posts, you know that I'm terrible at predicting which books I'll read next.)
Of the nine books pictured, I read six of them!!!
Mending Fences ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
The Secrets of Paper & Ink ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
Within These Lines ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
Glory Road ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2 (review)
Ladies of Intrigue ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
Low Country Hero ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
I started Maybe It's You but haven't finished it yet, and I haven't begun The Truth about Romantic Comedies or The Sky Above Us yet. Maybe in April?
I also read a few books that weren't on my radar at the beginning of March (or they were, and I just forgot them for the picture):
Between Two Shores ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review) – I actually read most of this in February
Justice Mission ⭐⭐⭐1/2 (review)
A Hero for Miss Hatherleigh ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
Fame, Fate, and the First Kiss ⭐⭐⭐1/2 (review to come)
And, finally, I reviewed one book that I read in February but wanted to wait to post about until the release date:
Knox ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2 (review)
We'll see how April goes! Now that BASEBALL IS BACK, I'm afraid my reading time will suffer.
How did your March go for reading? Have you read any of these books? If so, I'd love to know what you thought of them!
Sounds like you had a great reading month!! SO sorry about your Instagram account, but I'm glad you started another one. :) YAY for all the fun romance reads; looks like you read some entertaining ones. I know one I've curious about is Maybe It's You and for YA, Within These Lines, too!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the Instagram thing has been super frustrating! But I've pretty much reached the "Let It Go" stage now :-) And bookstagram is such a wonderful community! Within These Lines is a wonderful story, for sure! And I need to get back to Maybe It's You--I was enjoying it when I pushed it off for more urgent reads. I'm sure you understand that ;-) As always, thanks for stopping by, Rissi!
