Anyway, on to the books ... which, unsurprisingly, I didn't read much of!
What I read last week:
It Was Always You by Judy Corry. Corry is quickly becoming one of my favorite YA authors. While this book had more serious issues than some of her other books, it was still an incredibly fun "fake relationship turned real" book. (4-1/2 stars)
The Boyfriend Agreement by Seven Steps. I have lots of thoughts about this YA romance, and not many of them are good. (1-1/2 stars)
What I'm reading now:
Lone Witness by Rachel Dylan. This is my current lunch break read, and it's slow going for me; I think I'm just not really feeling like reading suspense right now. Hopefully, I'll have a full report for you next week!
Miss Serena's Secret by Carolyn Miller. I love Carolyn Miller's regency romances so much! I'm about a quarter of the way in currently, and so far it's everything I hope for in a Miller novel.
What I'll read next:
My sister just sent me a not so subtle reminder that I promised to read To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han before I see her again ... which is just under two weeks away. So ... maybe? You know I'm terrible at predicting what I'll read next 🤣.

I just edited--and read--the upcoming books by MaryLu Tyndall (The Reckless) and Susan Sleeman (Cold Fear). Both are awesome books! I will start editing a textbook next. I hope I get a break to read some books "for fun" on my TBR list soon. :-)
ReplyDeleteI read my first Sleeman novel earlier this year and really liked it! I hope you do have time to do some "for fun" reading soon :-)
DeleteI hope things settle down for you. I like my downtime too. I read a lot of YA but am not familiar with the books you list. I've heard of Jenny Han but not read her. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathy! Yesterday was ridiculously busy and stressful, but today was much better :-) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteWow, you’ve been busy. I’m surprised you got any reading done at all. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
It helps that YA novels are usually super quick reads for me :-) Thanks for stopping by!
