April Wrap-Up

Hello, May! I'm happy to say goodbye to April—after losing a friend to cancer and making it through some crazy-stressful work stuff, I'm thrilled to be moving into May! (May will be crazy, no doubt. But I'm hoping it won't be as hard as April was.)

Somehow, I still managed to read six of the seven books I chose for my April TBR picture!

Justice Delivered ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2 (review)
The Memory House ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
Shadow Among Sheaves ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
Far Side of the Sea ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
We Were Beautiful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
When He Found Me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)

I did start A Silken Thread near the beginning of the month, but then other books—and life—took precedence. I'm hoping to get to it either this month or the beginning of June, when I go on vacation for a week!

I also read a few other books that didn't make my TBR picture:
Rescuing His Secret Child ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review)
Driftwood Bay ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2 (review)
Royal Date ⭐⭐⭐1/2 (review to come)
Kissing the Boy Next Door ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (review to come)

And, finally, I reviewed Fame, Fate, and the First Kiss ⭐⭐⭐1/2 (review), which I read in March.

How did your reading month go? Did you read any of these? And what are you looking forward to in May?

  1. WOW! Great reading month for you, Becky; We Were Beautiful is one I'd still like to read soonish. So sorry this month was hard, and condolences on your loss. Thinking of you, and wishing you a brighter, happier month ahead.

    1. Thanks, Rissi! (And sorry for the late reply ...) So far, May has been just as stressful but not nearly as difficult as April was :-) And I hope that you do get to read We Were Beautiful soon--it's so good!
