Favorite Reads

Over the past nine years, I've written nearly 900 book reviews. I'm often asked for book recommendations, and sometimes it can be hard to remember which books I liked best. Enter my yearly "Best of" lists! I've been doing them since 2011, and I think each one is a pretty accurate depiction of of the books I'd most highly recommend.     I just finished Stay, by Catherine Ryan Hyde and went straight to the computer to find more of her books. I totally agreed with your review of the book!

    So excited to stumble upon your blog! I’m a high school librarian and also a lover of Christian Fiction. I see we love the same books so I’m so excited to have new recommendations from someone likeminded. I read a lot so I’d love to occasionally recommend some of my faves! Edenbrooke has been one of my little gems of the year and I found your blog when I searched for other books by the author. Can hardly wait to dig in! Just borrowed a couple of your 2019 favorites from Hoopla.

    I just discovered your site when looking for another Julianne Donaldson book. And I'm so glad I did! I'm a lover a Christian fiction and a high school librarian. I'm so excited to see we love the same style of books and can't wait to begin some on your favorites lists! I just downloaded Wooing Cadie McCaffrey from Hoopla after reading your review. I read lots so I'd love to recommend a few books to you that I've loved.

    I just recently discovered your blog as well and I thanked The Lord for it I was struggling to read especially because worldly books always used God’s name in vain and they are just really not it to be honest. then I found your blog and it’s been such a blessing thank you.
