Review: "The Grown Woman's Guide to Online Dating" by Margot Starbuck

Online dating ... an area I've dipped a toe into once or twice but haven't done seriously in years. So I was intrigued when I heard about The Grown Woman's Guide to Online Dating ... and I also had to remind myself that reading a book wouldn't obligate me to get back out there!

Second chance romances are some of my favorites, plus I've been eager to read a book by Rachel Fordham, so I jumped at the chance to review A Life Once Dreamed.

Read with Us 2020: A Book Outside Your (Genre) Comfort Zone

Hi, friends! Better late than never, right? The start of school has had me reading less and blogging even less than that ... which is my excuse for why I'm posting this at the very end of August. In July, my sister and I decided to read books outside of our genre comfort zone. She picked World War II fiction, and I picked science fiction.

I've read two Kara Isaac books in the past, and I loved them—especially All Made Up, which was such fun! So when I learned she had a new book releasing, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it!

I've heard great things about Michèle Phoenix's writing, but Fragments of Light is the first of her novels I've read. And I can tell you that it certainly won't be the last!

Review: "The Lost Lieutenant" by Erica Vetsch

You know how sometimes books are so buzzed about that you have to read them? So many of my bookstagram friends have been raving about The Lost Lieutenant ... and I even featured it in what is one of my personal favorite Instagram photos (the "likes" don't agree, but I still love it!). Since I've been on a Regency kick lately, I decided to squeeze it in between review deadlines, and I'm so glad I did!

Review: "Sincerely Yours" by Kari Trumbo

Stories where people fall in love in unusual ways can be so fun, can't they? The concept of falling in love over the phone is what attracted me to Sincerely Yours.
