Review: "To Tame a Cowboy" by Jody Hedlund

Do you have genres you never read, except when an author you love writes in that genre? That's me with western fiction/cowboy romances. It's one of those genres that I'm never drawn to, even though I live in the "Wild West." But when Jody Hedlund releases another cowboy romance, I am all in

Review: "Never Leave Me" by Jody Hedlund

Last summer, I read the first book in Jody Hedlund's Waters of Time series and loved it, so there was no hesitation on my part when I heard there would be a book two. Now I'm hoping for a book three!

Review: "A Cowboy for Keeps" by Jody Hedlund

Every time I hear Jody Hedlund has a new series starting, I think, "Yes, please!" So when I heard about A Cowboy for Keeps, the first book in her Colorado Cowboys series, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. And then I found out it was a marriage of convenience romance--my favorite!

Review: "Beholden" by Jody Hedlund

Even though I left my teen years behind long ago, I adore YA romance ... but much of what's popular is more adult than what I'd want the teens I know to read. That's why I love Jody Hedlund's medieval YA novels - they feature chaste yet swoony romance, and they always have positive themes. Her latest series, which begins with Beholden, offers more of the same.

After loving Jody Hedlund's first three Bride Ships novels, I was thrilled to discover she had another one releasing!

Review: "The Runaway Bride" by Jody Hedlund

After reading the first book in Jody Hedlund's Bride Ships series last year, I've been eagerly awaiting book two, and it's finally here!

(Fortunately for me, in the intervening time, Hedlund published an entire YA series, so I wasn't completely without her books!)

Review: "Hereafter" by Jody Hedlund

You a know a book is good when you pick it up to "read the first chapter" ... and you put it down at 12:30 a.m. after you've read the final page!

Review: "Foremost" by Jody Hedlund

I just finished reading Foremost, the second novel in Jody Hedlund's Lost Princesses series, and I'm left with just one question: How long until I can pick up Hereafter, the final book in the series? (Answer: about a month. Thankfully!)

Review: "Evermore" by Jody Hedlund

I'm so excited that Jody Hedlund has written another medieval series! After releasing the prequel novella for The Lost Princesses series earlier this month, she's back with book one, Evermore, and it's so good!

Review: "Always" by Jody Hedlund

A few years ago, Jody Hedlund, one of my favorite historical romance writers, penned a medieval YA series that I absolutely loved. (See my reviews of the books in that series here.) Though Hedlund has wrapped up that series, she isn't finished writing medieval YA; Always is the opening novella in her upcoming The Lost Princesses series!

Review: "A Reluctant Bride" by Jody Hedlund

You know a book is good when you read it late into the night. That's what happened to me while reading A Reluctant Bride. It's a good thing I'm on vacation and didn't need to get up in the morning, as I read until 1:30 a.m. in order to finish it!

Review: "Searching for You" by Jody Hedlund

It always makes me a little sad when a series I enjoy draws to an end. Jody Hedlund's Orphan Train series has been such a joy to read, and she saved the best for last with Searching for You!

Review: "A Worthy Rebel" by Jody Hedlund

I realize I'm like a broken record when it comes to Jody Hedlund's medieval YA romances, but it's true: THIS is the type of book our teens should be reading!

Review: "Together Forever" by Jody Hedlund

Jody Hedlund writes some of my favorite historical romance. I really enjoyed the first book in this Orphan Train series when I read it earlier this year, so I jumped at the chance to review Together Forever, the second book in the series.

Review: "With You Always" by Jody Hedlund

In December, I included With You Always in my Top Ten Tuesday list of books I'd love to find under the Christmas tree. My sister Val read that post, and With You Always showed up in my stocking!

"A Loyal Heart" by Jody Hedlund

Last year, I finished (or so I thought) Jody Hedlund's delightful medieval YA romance trilogy ... so I was pleasantly surprised to learn she'd written a fourth book! I'd thought that no couple could top Bennet and Sabine from For Love & Honor, but Aldric and Olivia certainly give them a run for their money!
