Review: "The Woman in the Green Dress" by Tea Cooper

This cover 😍😍😍 Doesn't it just scream, "Read me!" Fortunately, the story inside is just as wonderful as the cover!

Review: "Stories that Bind Us" by Susie Finkbeiner

In recent years, I've heard a lot about Susie Finkbeiner's writing. I didn't know much about it ... except that it wasn't as romance-focused as I generally like my books to be! But her new book, Stories that Bind Us, captured me with the cover, and I knew I needed to give it a shot.

Review: "The Summer House" by Lauren K. Denton

If you like Southern fiction, then Lauren K. Denton is the author for you! The Summer House is the second of her novels that I've read, and it evokes such a sweet charm that you just want to immerse yourself in the story. Review: "Lies, Love, and Breakfast at Tiffany's" by Julie Wright

Top Ten Tuesday: Books on My Summer TBR

Happy Tuesday! It is Tuesday, right? Time is so weird right now. I can't believe that it's already the middle of June, yet pre-Covid feels like years ago. So, so strange. This week's topic is Summer TBR, and, while I could take the easy way and pick ten books I've gotten to review (and will, therefore, certainly read), I'm picking other books that I'd like to read (and will, therefore, read approximately one). Let's go!

Review: "Masquerade at Middlecrest Abbey" by Abigail Wilson

In the past six months or so, I've developed a great love for Regency romance. I'd enjoyed a few titles here and there in the past (mainly written by Julie Klassen and Carolyn Miller), but for me, 2020 is turning into the year of the Regency! So if you take a Regency-era novel and combine it with a marriage of convenience plot (my favorite romance trope!), you've got a book I can't resist!

Review: "A Mosaic of Wings" by Kimberly Duffy

This is a case of choosing a book based on its cover. While the description didn't really draw me in, the cover sure did! In this case, judging a book by its cover turned out to be a good thing!

For our May book in the Modern Mrs. Darcy Reading Challenge, we chose A Debut Novel. And we all participated this month! (Sort of ... none of us actually read these books in May 🤣)
