Review: "Forever Yours" by Judy Corry

I don't know what it is, but there's something about Judy Corry's writing that makes me do stupid things ... like staying up way past my bedtime to read her books. I've now read most of her books, and I think each one has been read between the hours of 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. Normally, I'm really good about putting books down and getting my sleep, but, without exception, her books call to me as I'm getting ready for bed, and then I can't put the book down until it's finished ... which is why I was VERY groggy at work yesterday. I pulled Forever Yours up on my Kindle at 10:15 ... and finished it at 12:30. Thank goodness I'm a quick reader, or it would have been much later!

2019 Mini Reviews: February - June

When 2019 started, I thought I'd try to do mini reviews each month—reviews of books that I'd purchased myself or borrowed, books that I didn't feel like doing a full-blown review for but still wanted to record my thoughts about. And I succeeded ... in January 🤣.

Review: "My Mistletoe Mix-Up" by Judy Corry

Probably my favorite "new to me" author that I've discovered this year is Judy Corry. She writes clean YA that's emotionally engaging and entertaining. When her Christmas novella My Mistletoe Mix-Up popped up as a Kindle freebie, I couldn't resist!

Review: "My Second Chance" by Judy Corry

Judy Corry's latest Ridgewater High novel deals with a subject that can be tricky: teen pregnancy. Having read her previous novels, I was fairly sure that, no matter where the characters began the novel, the pregnancy would end up being treated in a life-affirming way, but I was curious about how everything else—the sex that resulted in the pregnancy, the relationship between the main characters, and the choice for or against adoption—would be handled.

Review: "It Was Always You" by Judy Corry

After enjoying the first two books in Judy Corry's Ridgewater High series, I was excited to find the third available on Kindle Unlimited (Kindle owners can borrow one KU book per month without subscribing to Kindle Unlimited).

Review: "The Billionaire Bachelor" by Judy Corry

You know how they say not to judge a book by its cover? Well, I do. All the time. And I would never normally pick up a book with a cover that looks like this—it doesn't exactly scream "clean and wholesome," does it? But ... it is. I "met" Judy Corry through her YA romance a few months ago, and I knew that she only writes clean romance, so I decided to give this one a chance despite the cover.

Review: "Meet Me There" by Judy Corry

A couple months ago, I read Judy Corry's Don't Forget Me, a clean YA romance that I both enjoyed and was frustrated by. But I liked it enough to know that I wanted to read other books by Corry, so when I found Meet Me There available through the Kindle Owner's Lending Library, I snapped it up.

"Don't Forget Me" by Judy Corry

For whatever reason, I read YA books in spurts. I might go three months without reading YA, but then I read one, and that's all I want to read for like a week. Then I'm good again for another three months. I read a YA book a few days ago, and that just increased my thirst for YA.

Yesterday, I came across a book I'd had my eye on a couple months ago, Judy Corry's Don't Forget Me, on a list of daily Kindle freebies. I bought it and started reading ... and didn't stop until I'd finished!
