Hello again, TTT friends! It's been a while since I've been around these parts. Today's topic was too good to pass up, though: Books I'd Like to Have in My Personal Library. I'm taking this to mean books I want physical copies of ... because for all of the convenience of an ebook, there's nothing like having a physical copy to hold, read, and use in #bookstagram photos!
My first book was easy to come up with, and the rest took a little thinking ... but before we get into that, let's talk about the PSL—Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte. It's August 27. This is still summer! I could make an argument for the fall season beginning September 1, but August??? I love the PSL, but this is too soon. (So says the girl who eagerly embraces the Hallmark Channel's ever-expanding Christmas season 🤣 Double standard, I know.)
Becoming Mrs. Lewis by Patti Callahan (my review)
This book. I borrowed it from the library, and now I'm aching to have a copy on my bookshelf for all time. It's easily one of the best books I've read this year, and I'm already feeling like it's time for a reread!
Enchanted: A Christmas Collection by Melissa Tagg (my reviews)
This collection includes Tagg's Christmas novellas One Enchanted Christmas, One Enchanted Eve, and One Enchanted Noel. I have them all as ebooks, but I'd love to have a physical copy of the collection.
P.S. I Like You by Kasie West (my review)
I have an ebook copy of this book, but it's by far my favorite of West's, and I'd love to have a tangible version.
The Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis
Again, I have e-copies ... I read my parents' old paperback copies of Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, and That Hideous Strength when I was in college. My favorite quote of all time comes from Perelandra. Yet I didn't own these books until recently, when I got the ebooks for a steal. I have a pretty extensive Lewis paperback collection, and I think I need to add these!
The Anne of Green Gables series by L.M. Montgomery
I own Anne of Green Gables ... and that's it! I absolutely devoured these books as a child, and I'd love to have the whole set. Preferably pretty editions!
The Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder
My mom read the entire Little House series (and all of the Chronicles of Narnia) to my siblings and me when I was young. I have multiple copies of Narnia, but none of Little House.
I know I don't have ten entries, but if you count all of the books included in the sets, then I'm well over ten 😉. What books have you read that you'd like to own?

Becoming Mrs. Lewis was a wonderful story. Good choice there. I wonder if it will ever be made into a film?

That would be really interesting, I think! I've never seen Shadowlands, but I assume that's more from Lewis's perspective, where this is more focused on Joy--and I would love to see that perspective on film! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI grab Kasie's books each and every time she releases a new one. Bookworm silly, I know, since in all likelihood the year-later paperback will be lots less expensive or I could probably find them (in time) on discount bookstores like Book Outlet. But I love her books! ;) I started collecting one edition of the 'Anne' books, and think I only have two... and to be honest, I don't think I've ever read them!
