This Bible is a great option for girls ... and girls at heart! (Granted, the cover looks a little "young," but it's totally something a teenager or adult could carry.) When I handed it to my cousin to look at, she flipped through, then quickly went back to the first full coloring page and went to town.
Here's her review: "I like all the coloring, and the pencils work well. It's fun!"
I would agree with her assessment. Also, the pages are slightly thicker than regular Bible pages, meaning they'll hold up to some serious coloring. I would imagine that markers and some pens would bleed through a little, but not as much as they would in a regular, non-coloring Bible. This set also includes a pack of stickers that can be colored. The Bible seems to be put together well--it looks like it could hold up to some rough handling. And there are lines for journaling on almost every page, which should encourage note taking.
Overall, this is a nice coloring Bible and would make a great Christmas present! 5 stars.
