Needless to say, I didn't do much reading. At all. I do have some review deadlines looming at the end of the month and beginning of next month, so I need to kick it into gear this week ... even though my brain feels pretty fried by the time I get home from work.
What I read last week:
Give Me Thine Heart by Andrea Boeshaar (part of the Timeless Love anthology). This novella, set in England and on a ship in the Atlantic during the War of 1812, is an enjoyable (if not particularly memorable) marriage of convenience romance. It's a quick read, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the novellas in this anthology. (3-1/2 stars, review to come)
What I'm reading now:
Falling for You by Becky Wade. I'm pretty sure I'm going to finish this book tonight. It's. So. Good!!!
What I'll read next:
Does the end of the school year mess with your reading like it does mine? Did you read anything great last week? Let me know, and then head over to The Book Date to see what others read last week!

I'm reading Send Down the Rain by Charles Martin. Enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to read anything by Charles Martin, but I've heard wonderful things! Glad you're enjoying it, Susanne!
DeleteBecky's is high on my MUST-READ list!! For now I'm reading a book called Always, Never Yours which is a YA secular (with typical YA content *sigh*) that's got a pretty cute story line. Enjoy your reads, Becky!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo I did finish Becky's last night, and it was, as expected, AMAZING. It was also way more emotional than I was anticipating. I know you'll love it when you get to it :-)
