April Wrap-Up


Hello, May! I'm happy to say goodbye to April—after losing a friend to cancer and making it through some crazy-stressful work stuff, I'm thrilled to be moving into May! (May will be crazy, no doubt. But I'm hoping it won't be as hard as April was.)

I am all about retellings of famous stories—Shakespeare, Jane Austen, the Bible. So when I heard that Shadow among Sheaves was based on Boaz & Ruth in the Bible, I knew I wanted to read it.

Review: "Rescuing His Secret Child" by Maggie K. Black

Over the next several weeks, TLC Book Tours is touring several Love Inspired and Love Inspired Suspense titles. I haven't always enjoyed Love Inspired books, but I feel like recently the quality of the writing has improved drastically, and the descriptions of two of the books on tour caught my attention, so I decided to jump in! Today, I'm reviewing the Love Inspired Suspense title Rescuing His Secret Child, and in early May I'll have the Love Inspired title Her Oklahoma Rancher.
