I did a lot of piecemeal reading over the last week—a little bit of this, a little bit of that—but I did finish a couple books, including one that you absolutely must read if you enjoy World War II fiction!
What I read last week:
The Chilbury Ladies' Choir by Jennifer Ryan. This is the must-read of the week. This epistolary novel is so engaging and fun! (5 stars)
Searching for Sarah by Julieann Dove. You can see m y post for the blog tour here, which includes an excerpt and a giveaway. I'll be posting my review in a few weeks. (review & rating to come)
What I'm reading now:
To the Farthest Shores by Elizabeth Camden. Camden is one of my favorite authors writing historical fiction, and her latest, set at The Presidio and a remote California village in the early 1900s, is incredibly engaging. I'll finish it later this week, I'm sure.
You'll Think of Me by Robin Lee Hatcher. I'm loving this latest romance from Hatcher, about a woman who returns to her hometown after she learns her deceased estranged husband left her his family farm.
What I'll read next:
Looking Glass Lies by Varina Denman. This book releases tomorrow; I'd hoped to have the review ready to go on release day, but as I haven't read more than the opening chapter, that's not looking likely!
I hope you've had a great reading week! I'd love to hear about what you're reading now! Also, have you ever done a Whole30? Any tips?
